S. Jolene Hui is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in the Los Angeles area. She believes in providing a warm, open, and welcoming environment to all clients she meets. Having been trained in different therapeutic modalities, she prefers to tailor therapy to each client, as each individual has different needs, strengths, and backgrounds.

A graduate of the Social Welfare program at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, she has trained and worked in community mental health in a variety of settings in downtown and west Los Angeles and has experience providing therapy to individuals and groups. Her areas of focus are (but not limited to) work with the LGBT population, addictions, and women’s reproductive mental health. Her interest in helping women led her to also assist them in childbirth, as she is a Doulas of North America (DONA)-trained birth doula. Public health is also important to her– she has experience as an HIV counselor and educator.

She is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) – California Chapter, where she has held various leadership positions and has an interest in professional development of social work students and clinical social workers for whom she has conducted workshops. She is also a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is seeking her certification in sex therapy.

She loves running in the wonderful southern California weather and spending time with her husband and their daughter.
